Minutes turned to hours over a couple beers
His infectious smile made me think I’d know him for years
In the next couple weeks we stood on stage

We became the heroes of our day

As fast as I joined you made me one your own
Practiced turned into hanging out at our homes
You were laughing at some joke while Jen tried to sing
It was the best of times

Driving all night coming back from the gigs
Tuna showed dirty pictures, told stories about his kids
Pauly screamed shut it down as the tires skid
